In partnership with Fort Worth ISD and Tarrant Net, we work with the First Grade teachers at Westpark Elementary in Benbrook. We partner volunteers who serve as reading coaches to one or two students for their entire First Grade year. Volunteers meet with their student one day a week for thirty minutes. Training is provided by FWISD and curriculum is provided by FBC. Training events are in August and September, and we begin meeting with our students in October.
